Rebooting the HealthTypes
There are six HealthTypes featured on the HealthType circle – each one has a way to reboot that most effectively helps them to feel refreshed and energized. Scroll down to get to know more about how to Reboot with foods for the Activator, Connector, Guardian, Diplomat, Sensor, and Crusader.
The Activator
The best type of Detox for your body is NO FATS and NO PROTEINS for a series of days. Think that might be a challenge? You’re probably right but it gives your liver an excellent break from processing all the protein that you usually get from your diet (you like protein, right? That’s totally natural for you!).
The Connector
The best type of Detox for a Connector is SMOOTHIES. Yup, fresh fruit and veg smushed up looking pretty! Your body gets a break from hard-t-process foods and the fibre content importantly helps to slough away any build-up in your intestines.
The Guardian
The best type of Detox for a Guardian is WARM LIQUIDS AND BROTHS. Delicious, aromatic warm meals with as many herbal teas in between! This allows you to get the nutrients you need and release stored energy at the same time as reducing the workload for your body.
The Diplomat
The best type of Detox for the Diplomat is just FRUIT & VEGETABLES, especially green leafies! This gives your body a break and removes anything that happens to be fermenting in your intestines while the magnesium from those leafies helps soothe and support your gut.
The Sensor
The best type of Detox for a Sensor is JUICING. This gives you a real break from the effort of digestion while still giving you a power-pack of nutrients however extended fasting is not suitable for your body so your Detox period is very short and should be coupled with a period of optimizing your nutrition.
The Crusader
The best type of Detox for a Crusader is alternating days of Detox and Optimized nutrition. Detox foods are LOW-PROTEIN, LOW-FAT, and moderate to high CARBS. This format is to maintain the high amount of energy your brain and body burn at the same time as removing build-up that causes stiffness in the body tissues.
Getting the Details
During the 10 day Reboot you’ll enjoy DETOX days and OPTIMIZE days. Detox days following the recommendations above and Optimize days are when you consume your GREEN-RANKED foods from Shae ONLY (as much as possible!).
Food is what fuels your body every day so it makes sense that the quality of food that goes in affects the quality of your lifestyle. Consider the reboot like a Spring clean on the inside… but it doesn’t have to be a serious affair. You can do as much or as little as you like – the important things are that you:
